for hours
and hours
one can stay
sometimes you
don’t want to return
not because it is so beautiful
but because it feels so real

in the evenings i
downsit,
deep downsit
downout,
downthere,
downunder,
downcushioned,
downspiraled……..
draw pictures while hanging on the phone
they all say, gal,” Tell me why I can’t stay home?!”
they are full of bottles and beers and babies and bees and beanies and bobs
and i stay home while they call out ” tell me why I can’t stay home?!”
in the meantime there is art in badtiming, shot in the eighties in vienna and the story is so authentic it makes me sick
but i listen to the mother with the music and she goes “sometimes when i get distracted, i stumble.”
and i fall

I wear your body tent, which you gave me
Once
Once
It was raining then, you would not want me to catch a cold.
Yet it was still summer
You went for holidays to the lake and punkies
You’d always call me a little punkie, remember?
I sit in front of the screen
With your black wind jacket
I haven’t heard from u since ages despite my requests
Nevertheless, I think of u almost daily
It’s become a habit
feels like a phantom pain
a nightmarish *latch on to the unfulfilled*
